Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Health Services Vocational School was established depending on Amasya Univesity Rectorship. Medical Laboratory Techniques Program has started the admission of students from the academic year 2012-2013.

Qualifications Requirements And Regulations
In order to graduate from the program with a pre-graduate degree, students` general academic average must be 2.00over 4.00, and the students are required to complete their vocational education successfully in vocational traininginstitutions
Profile Of The Programme
To raise health technicians that are capable to maintain medical secretariat services; to type the medical reports of diagnoses and treatments of diseases; to prepare the medical, administrative and statistical documents; to archive the documents by order; to organize and develop the archive; to prepare the patients for examination by admission and file transactions; to provide the oral and written communication of respective departments.
Examinations, Assesment And Grading Regulations
Once in each semester, one midterm exam (1st midterm exam) and one final exam (written final exam) is performed. 40% of the midterm exam and 60% of the final exam effects the passing grade.  
Graduation Requirements
Education and training period is 2 years (4 semesters) and, to graduate from the program, students are required to complete the two-year theoretical and practical education (a total of 120 ECTS) successfully.
